A proposed medical cannabis measure will not appear on Idaho’s November ballot after organizers failed to collect enough valid signatures. State officials have also referred allegations of possible petition fraud to the Idaho State Police for investigation.

Idaho has confirmed its first cyclospora case of the year. Health officials say the person recently traveled out of state and remind everyone to wash fresh produce and practice good food safety. 🥗💧
🚔 Boise Man Arrested After Ketchum Incident
A 44-year-old Boise man faces felony aggravated assault charges after allegedly pointing a handgun at a homeowner in Ketchum. Deputies used FLOCK license plate cameras to locate and arrest the suspect near Hailey.
🗳️ Election Dispute Continues
Idaho officials are pushing back against the U.S. Justice Department, asking federal officials to end a lawsuit over access to the state’s voter registration data and stop what they describe as threats toward election workers.

🏆 American Legion Baseball
The Idaho American Legion Area C District Tournament begins today! Sixteen teams are competing for four state tournament spots, including Burley, Twin Falls Red Hawks, Twin Falls Cowboys, Buhl Tribe, and the Hub City Hitmen. Burley enters as the defending district and state champion at 31-5.
🏈 Idaho Vandals
Kickoff times are set for Idaho’s final two non-conference football games. The Vandals host Lamar (Sept. 12) and Abilene Christian (Sept. 19) at the Kibbie Dome, with both games airing on SWX.
🏀 Idaho State Basketball
The Bengals have released their 2026-27 non-conference schedule, featuring 13 games, including six home contests at Reed Gym. Home action begins November 20.
