AUGUST 6TH – 11TH ANNUAL MAGIC VALLEY BEER FESTIVAL AT THE TWIN FALLS CITY PARK

AUGUST 6TH – FIRST SATURDAY BOOK SALE AT THE FRIENDS OF DEMARY MEMORIAL LIBRARY

The first Saturday of every month, the Friends of DeMary Memorial Library at 630 5th Street in Rupert have a book sale! You can find all kinds of books, movies and audio books of all ages and a variety of topics!  Stop on by and find yourself a new to you book for a great price!

 

AUGUST 8TH – 13TH – 101ST JEROME COUNTY FAIR & RODEO

Join everyone for the Fair and Rodeo August 8th through the 13th for some “Home Grown Fun”! August 8th and 9th, you’ll see some PRCA Rodeo Action, August 9th is also the Jerome County Fair Parade beginning at 4pm. Thursday night the 11th is Kat Kountry and BUCK-FM night with the Home Grown Community Concert featuring local artists, then on Friday night the 12th, catch Nate Smith in the DePew Arena beginning at 7:30pm. For Twin Falls area high school students the Twin Falls High School Swim Team will start their practices on August 8th at 5:15 pm - 6:45 pm, at TF City Pool.

AUGUST 13TH – IT’S A SPAGHETTI WESTERN NIGHT AT THE STRICKER RANCH

Catch the Rock Creek Rustler at the Stricker Ranch at their Spaghetti Western night on Saturday, August 13th from 6:30pm to 8:30pm! Complete fun challenges and activities, both physical and mental, to gather clues. Solve the puzzle first, and you'll win a prize... and bragging rights! Plus, they'll feed you a delicious spaghetti dinner to keep you energized!

AUGUST 13TH- 20TH – CASSIA COUNTY FAIR AND RODEO

The Cassia County Fair and Rodeo in Burley will be August 13th through the 20th with all of the food, fun, live entertainment and rodeo action you can handle!  The whole shebang kicks off with the concert on Saturday the 13th with Eddie Montgomery; Sunday is the All American Throwdown Dirt Drag Nationals. Monday and Tuesday will be the Motorcycle at ATV Rodeo, and Wednesday will be the Cassia County Fair Parade beginning at 10:30am. AUGUST 15TH – 20th - 97th ANNUAL GOODING COUNTY FAIR & RODEO “ALL AMERICAN FLAIR”

Head on over to Gooding every day August 15th through the 20th for the 97th Annual Gooding County Fair and Rodeo!  Saturday, August 13th is the Junior Rodeo and pre-registration is required for participation. Every day of the fair there will be 4H and FFA livestock events. The Gooding Fair Parade down Main Street will be on Wednesday at 5:340pm and after that the carnival opens. AUGUST 19TH – 2ND ANNUAL FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS CHARITY FOOTBALL GAME

Join Jerome 20/20 and the Jerome Chamber of Commerce for the 2nd Annual Charity Flag Football Game on Friday, August 19th at 6:30 where the Jerome High School Tigers will take on Jerome First Responders. Tickets are $5 each and $20 for the family, all proceeds to benefit local charities.

 

AUGUST 19TH – CASSIA HISTORICAL SOCIETY MUSEUM – VERY TASTY CHILI COOKOFF

Everyone is invited to enter the Cassia Historical Society Museum on Friday from 1pm to 3pm for their Very Tasty Chili Cook Off. Prizes will be had. Lots of fun for the whole family. AUGUST 20TH – CONCERT FOR A CURE AT THE SUN VALLEY PAVILION

Saturday, August 20th the Sun Valley Pavilion with host Concert for a Cure is a benefit concert to raise awareness and funds for life-saving cancer research and patient care. This year Killebrew Thompson Memorial proudly hosts Rumors ATL: A Tribute to Fleetwood Mac. Each ticket sold includes a donation to cancer research. AUGUST 20TH – JOE MAMA’S CAR SHOW AT THE JEROME CITY PARK

Joe Mama's 2022 update! As in years past they will kick off Friday night at Con Paulos Chevrolet with a show and shine and activities to follow at the park this year instead of the fairgrounds. Those activities are still a work in progress. Saturday's main show will be at the ICCU North Freedom Park in Jerome, with attractions and activities going on throughout the day. Judging will take place in the morning and the parade of winners will end the show.

A full schedule, including times, will be posted here when everything is decided. The website is still under construction, we hope to have it ready to go in a few weeks.

 

AUGUST 20TH – 2ND ANNUAL DAYS GONE BY FESTIVAL

Head on over to the Cassia County Historical Museum on Saturday, August 20th for the 2nd Annual Days Gone By Festival. Its fun for the whole family and it is FREE from 10am to 5pm. Free popcorn and cotton candy. They’ll have a Stage Coach, Blacksmith demonstrations and a  Phonograph Demo, 1880 Pullman Train Car. Old historic buildings, Music and so much more. AUGUST 20TH – CLASSIC CRUISERS OF TWIN FALLS – CRUISE NIGHT

Join Classic Cruisers of Twin Falls for another cruise night on Saturday, August 20th from 7pm to 10pm for this fun Show & Shine at the Oasis Stop N Go on Kimberly Road. Just a good Ol time of cars, food and music! Free for everyone!

 

 

SEPTEMBER 24TH – WALK FOR WISHES MAGIC VALLEY

Walk for Wishes is an event that celebrates wishes that have been granted by Make-A-Wish Idaho, while raising funds for future wishes. Join for the Walk for Wishes Magic Valley on September 24 at the Twin Falls Visitor Center. Registration and check-in starts at 9:00 a.m. and the walk begins at 10:00 a.m. Sign up today as a sponsor, walk team, or volunteer. OCTOBER 8TH – BUHL PUBLIC LIBRARY BOOK SALE

The Buhl Public Library will be having a book sale on Saturday, October 8th from 9am to 5pm. Visit the library for a sweet deal on books. Buy a bag of books for only $5. Individual items are even less.
